Hi,

I think you may still have a version mismatch here with your
libgfortran.a, or else it's not picking up the libgfortran.a that's in
that
directory.

What does the following report:

   nm /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.1/libgfortran.a | grep
_gfortran_copy_string

?
