Carl,

The GLIBC problem may be related to you using a version of NCL that is
not quite compatible
for your system.

What version of gcc (gcc --version) are you running, and what flavor
of LINUX?

You might try downloading the Debian binary instead of the RedHat one.

ncl_ncarg-5.2.1.Linux_Debian_x86_64_gcc412.tar.gz
