Aixue,
I get the same error message when trying to open up ghostview on the NCAR CGD
local system neva. I think it is a problem with the new /usr/local (?) directory
that they just installed on neva (and sanitas), and not with NCL. Try using gv
instead of ghostview, and let us know if that doesn't work...
FYI: I am putting in a request to our systems group about this, I'll copy you on
the email.
