gsn_polyline

Hello,
I should be grateful if someone could tell how to add a polyline to each member in
my panel plot.

The following meant for the first member in the panel does not work. The polyline is
drawn across the whole page.

plot(0) = gsn_csm_xy(wks,x1,y1,res)
gsn_polyline(wks,plot(0),x1,x1,res_lines)

Note I am drawing a 1 to 1 line on a scatter plot.
