fatal:ilapsG: The input must be float or double

Hi

I am using the function ilapsG and getting the following error message:

        fatal:ilapsG: The input must be float or double

The problem is, that the array I pass in to the funtcion *is* type float
(as confirmed by printVarSummary).

Any suggestions on what to look for?
