fatal:ilapsG: The input must be float or double - OK

I found the problem. I changed the second argument from (integer) 0 to (float) 0. .

The strange thing is that:

1) The examples on the ncl web page show some cases with (integer) 0 as the second argument
2) I am nearly certain that this code worked with the second argument as (integer) 0 just last
    week.
3) I don't think I have gone crazy yet
