labelbar display proplem

Hi
 
 I use "gsn_csm_streamline_map()" to plot streamlines on "Stereographic" projection map,and need to show
 different color on streamlines.
  
I set the resource :
res@ mpProjection = "Stereographic"
res@ stMonoLineColor = False
res@ pmLabelPositon = "Always"
res@ lbAutoManage = False
res@ pmLabelBarSide = "Bottom"
res@ lbOrientation = "Horizontal"
res@ lbPerimOn = False

I have set res@ lbOrientation = "Horizontal" .Although the labelbar is in the bottom , it is still displayed vertically.
  
 Should i set the other resource to show the labelbar with Horizontal?
