Here's a third suggestion: you can use the special resources
gsnXRefLine and gsnYRefLine to draw vertical or horizontal reference
lines. These resources do the gsn_polyline call that
both Fred and Dennis mentioned behind the scenes.
You can customize these lines with additional gsn resources.
