How to draw precipitation in U.S. only

Dear NCL users,

      I want to draw the U.S. precipitation without drawing the values
beyond the U.S. boundary, i.e. set all the other data to missing values. Is
there any convenient way to do this in NCL? Any suggestion will be
appreciated.
