Hi Mateus,

You are not the first person to request an "else if" statement. Almost
from the beginning when NCL was created, this has been a highly
requested feature. It is on our "high" priority list, but I'm afraid
it is not a simple implementation, otherwise we would have added this
years ago.

Along the same lines is a request for a "case" statement which would
serve a similar purpose.

We all feel your pain, and certainly hope that we can get this
implemented some day.
