Hi,

You can also delete the setting of res_at_trYMaxF any time you want NCL
to compute y max itself.

And, Saji, if I understand you intention below correctly, you can pass
max(data) as a value in the array:

    maxvalues=(/1.0, 2.0, max(data), 5, 0.5/)
