Hi,
Today when I try to use function "wavelet" of NCL to do averaging in scale , I found in the origin fortran program ( download from http://atoc.colorado.edu/research/wavelets/software.html) there is a option selettion of "isigtest =2 " to do "scale-average" test. However, NCL function (http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Functions/Built-in/wavelet.shtml) only have two option selection :

"isigtest
A value of 0 means do a regular chi-square test, i.e. Eqn (18) from Torrence and Compo. A value of 1 means do a "time-average" test on the global wavelet spectrum. "

Then I want to know if I can use the NCL funtion to do "scale-average" and the test of "scale-average".

Li
