Hi John,

I believe this is the first request I've seen for this type of output
file format (I'm sure one of our developers will correct me if I'm
wrong). We are currently in the process of reviewing the underlying
code for our display model to see if it can be replaced with something
more robust. This would potentially allow for a lot more file formats
than what we currently offer, and hopefully will include SWF.

This would also allow us to have better transparency, which I see you
asked about in another question (I will research this and respond to
that separately).

I will add SWF to our list of enhancement requests for output file
formats. This is not something that will happen soon, unfortunately,
as we have a number of other more pressing deadlines to meet first.

One question: could you elaborate on what kind of problems you
are having with using pdf2swf?

Thanks for your input.
