Hi Bruce,

The Satellite projection is a perspective view from space that
requires more parameters to fully
specify. The resources mpSatelliteAngle1F, mpSatelliteAngle2F and
mpSatelliteDistF apply only to
the Satellite projection. Given the default settings of these
parameters, you are correct that the Satellite
projection defaults to an Orthographic projection.

The Orthographic projection is essentially a limiting case of the
Satellite view where the
distance is theoretically infinite.
