Hi Yi,

Typically NhlMalloc errors happen due to the system running out of
memory. I see from what you sent Rick that you are reading in many ascii
files. I would try reading in just a few ascii files at one time and see
if the error goes away..

Can you tell us how much memory is on the system you are running the
script on? Also, what is the cumulative size of the ascii files you are
trying to read in? Adam
