Hi Folks:

I wonder how to let "write_matrix" handle missing (FillValue) properly.

I got this:

********* 8.084590 6.998832 6.808070 7.575157 8.387047 8.920867
9.245953 9.208899 9.212070 8.758603 8.265203 7.651602 7.238543
6.804962 6.466741 6.219310 6.225878 6.449348 6.495258 6.539003
6.447675 6.293593 5.857313 5.494842 5.282888 5.187833 5.103837
5.486167 6.071481 6.729286 7.600728 8.704721 8.995887 9.018699
8.893161 8.052333 5.215640 3.156711**********

Just because there are two missing values. If I print them out over my
screen, the missing values are -999.0

However, the ascii data output all *******.

Here is the part of the script:

opt = True
opt_at_fout = "Test_data2.dat"
write_matrix (data1, "40f10.6" , opt)

Thanks,
