We are hoping towards the end of November. We'd like to have a new
version ready by the time we teach an NCL workshop in December.

Yes, you can email me personally and I will give you a beta version.
I need to know what kind of system you have ("uname -a"), and, if you
have a Linux system, what version of gcc ("gcc --version") is on your
system.
