Drawing fronts

All-
Does anyone have a good understanding of wmdrft or script which draws
fronts?

I am having trouble getting the specified fronts to appear. I am attempting
to plot a series of times and overlay the fronts. This is done from a loop.
However, only the first call to wmdrft produces a front:

Calling sequence:
Do I=0,4
Plot = gsn_csm_vector_scalar()
Wmdrft()

Plot = gsn_csm_vector_scalar()
Wmdrft()

End do

The first call to wmdrft produces a front on the second call to
gsn_csm_scalar_vector.

So, does draw or frame need to be called after wmdrft to force the front
onto the frame? Or should wmdrft be called first? Or am I missing something
obvious?

I am experimenting with this, so the reason I am calling the gsn plotting
routine is to overlay my front positions with the data so I can refine its
placement.
Thanks for any insight.
