the use of ncl_convert2nc

hi all:
   I use ncl_convert2nc of ncl 5.0.0 to convert a grib file to nc form.BUT it said "the file is not readable".
The strange thing is :I use the ncl_grib2nc of older edition ncl 4.2.0.a033 to convert the SAME file ,it works,but de variables which numbered 95 reduced to 74 and be renamed.So I want to use the latest version to compare ,but in 5.0.0,the ncl_grib2nc is deprecated,and need to use ncl_convert2nc instead.AND,it doesn't work.Who knows how to solve ?THANKS!
