How to retrieve sub message from GRIB2 file?

Hi,

I am trying to retrieve each message details of GRIB2 file but i am not able
to retrieve sub message in it.

e.g An application like wgrib2 gives such output.

1.1:0:Sec0=GRIB reserved 0x0000 Discipline=0 Grib_Edition=2 len=284329
1.2:0:Sec0=GRIB reserved 0x0000 Discipline=0 Grib_Edition=2 len=284329

while mine application gives only
1:0:Sec0=GRIB reserved 0x0000 Discipline=0 Grib_Edition=2 len=284329

How can i access sub message of message 1???
Please help me same.
Any pointer regarding same is appreciated.
