Yes, the first plot (1) is generated by NCL and the second
one (2) by mathlab-pcolor.

To get the first plot, I had to use an external fortran code to
perform a mass conserving interpolation. As I said, this is fine.
But, I was wondering if there is a special NCL routine equivalent
to pcolor in mathlab.
