too large white space between panels

Hi everyone,
I produce a panel plot using gsn_panel(wks,plot(0:3),(/1,4/),resP).
Unfortunately, the white spaces between each plot are too large and I
found no possibility to reduce these. In the script I use res_at_tiYAxisOn
= False to ensure that the white spaces are not a result from the y-axis
titles. I further set tiMainOn = False.
Do you have any suggestions?
