Re: plotting stageIV precipitaton data

Generally, the " res@tfDoNDCOverlay=True " should be used for the full
map only.
It is fast.

If you want to zoom-in on an area...

  res@tiMainString = fname

  plot = gsn_csm_contour_map(wks,pcp,res) ; res@tfDoNDCOverlay=True

  delete( res@tfDoNDCOverlay ) ; only use for full map

  res@mpLimitMode ="LatLon"

  res@mpMaxLonF = -80.
  res@mpCenterLonF = (res@mpMinLonF + res@mpMaxLonF)*0.5

  pcp@lat2d = lat2d
  pcp@lon2d = lon2d
  plot = gsn_csm_contour_map(wks,pcp,res)
