A quick question to function shgetnp

 
 Dear All,

 I am using the function
 shgetnp
 to find the nearest points to a given point in 3-space

 However, I got the following error message

 IERR=    7
 SHSTORE3 - cell grid dimensions must be positive
  IERR=    9
 SHQSHEP - collinear input, no unique solution
 fatal:shgetnp: Error number 9.

 This means the function cannot find only one solution as the nearest
point such that it fails?

 Also, actually I just want to find the nearest points to a given point in
2-Space, is there any function for 2-Space, which should be faster than the
current one for 3-Space?

 Any help will be appreciated!
