Re: NCL Version 5.2.0 now available

Ahhh, excellent question. Yes, there were some changes, but nothing
major. Mostly it was clean-up work
for documentation and getting the source code ready.

Here are some changes that might be of interest:

  - The original GRIB2 code tables were added and called
"grib2_codetables.previous", in case users need
     access to the original short names for GRIB2 variables.

  - Fix to the new PNG output driver that caused a problem if you
tried to open multiple PNGs inside a loop

  - Fix to NhlNewMarker that caused a core dump only on MacOS 10.6
systems (as far as I could tell)

  - Fix to natgrid that caused it to exit with a bus error if a
failure was encountered

There's not any major reason to upgrade if the above issues don't
affect you.

Of course, one of the other NCL developers may want to correct me
here...
