Hi Michael,

Looks like you are getting lots of good suggestions.

Do you know if the "system" command is actually being reached?

You can try adding some other system commands that do an
"ls" on the directory before you attempt the move:

dir_from = "/data/notaro/lpj_wicci_"+case+"/OUTPUT/"
dir_to = /data/notaro/lpj_wicci_"+case+"/"+models(imod)+"/realiz"+
(iset+1)+"/OUTPUT/"
files = dir_from + "*.out"

system("ls " + dir_from)
system("mv " + files + " " + dir_to)
system("ls " + dir_to)
