ncrcat problem

Hi, everyone,

   I want to combine 259 nc files (see below) into one nc file by using
"ncrcat TS_precip_LH_SWnet*.nc output.nc"

----------------------------
TS_precip_LH_SWnet_198709.nc
TS_precip_LH_SWnet_198710.nc
........
TS_precip_LH_SWnet_200903.nc
------------

But it fails with the following error:

   ncrcat(34046) malloc: *** mmap(size=20480) failed (error code=12)
*** error: can't allocate region
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
out of dynamic memory in ut_create_buffer()

   I have just tried the first 2 files and it works fine.
   Actually, the size of each file is only 1.3M.
   Do you know what causes the above error?
