Hi Samir,
After looking at the data I realize that it belongs to the Climate
Forecast System Reanlysis data set. This data relies on minimally
documented new NCEP 'local use' extensions to the the GRIB2 standard.
I have recently upgraded NCL to handle this data and the new NCEP
extensions in general. NCL 5.2.1, due out very soon now, has this
capability. If you would like to try it out now, please contact Mary
Haley.
