I do not understand. The Froude number is, well, a number.
Do you mean "How to use NCL to calculate the Froude number?" One form is:
F = V^2 / ( g*L ) ; V characteristic velocity; L characteristic Length
Since g and L are constant and V changes with time,
I guess you could claculate the Froude number each time step.
