Greetings,
Attached is a revision to the ncl.sl syntax highlighting rules for the
jed editor. Usage is contained in the the plain text ncl.sl file
itself.
Also attached is a screenshot of how it now looks with operators,
comments, strings, and 3 classes of word highlighing, reserved words,
functions, and resources covering all functions listed on the
alphabetical list and all keywords. If you want to add a word you
should know that it must be listed in jed's lexical order which is not
identical to the unix sort command.
The colors you get will depend on your local settings. You can change
them either in the ncl.sl file itself, in your jed.rc file, or in one
of the color tables under jed/lib/colors/
Please let me know if it is useful.
TJ Olney
p.s. jed is available for most Linux distributions, for FreeBSD, for
windows, and its source is always by anonymous ftp at
space.mit.edu /pub/davis/jed
It's not the easiest editor, but it works well and has modes for many
progamming languages.
