Sudheer,

I think the calling function statement in this example s mixed with that in
band_pass_area_time, which have five arguments.

As band_pass_latlon_time only applies the filter on a grid point each time,
it is not necessary to weigh the latitude. In other words, it should work by
deleting the argument wgty({latS:latN}).
