vector plots in vertically stretched co-ordinates

Hi,
Is there any option besides using wrf_interp3D to do vector plots for
vertically stretched co-ordinates? wrf_inter3d does the job, but in the end,
it looses the fine resolution near the surface, due to its fixed 100 grid
point interpolation for the entire depth of the atmosphere, which in my case
is 12km.
