Dear Ping Huang,

This is a good suggestion, and we will add a ticket for this to see if it's feasible. Meanwhile, we have something that might help. Go to the examples page:

http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/

and click on the word "resources" in the line that starts with "[List of tips, resources, functions/procedures..."]

This will take you to a page of all the resources that are used by one of the examples, and which example they appear in.

If a resource doesn't appear on that page, then there's no example for it.
