I couldn't reproduce this problem on my Mac, and I tried versions 5.1.1, 5.2.1, 6.0.0, and a 6.1.0 alpha version.
On both 32-bit and 64-bit Linux systems, I tried it with 6.0.0 and 6.1.0-alpha and had no problems.
What kind of system are you running on:
uname -a
