Hi!

I've got a calculation problem. i was hoping you could help me fix it.

I'm doing research with WRF and I need to calculate some parameter:

   1.
      1.

   1.
      1.

      where h = hemisphere (1 = NH, -1 = SH).

   1.
      1.

   1.
      1.

DeltaZR = mean 900-600hPa thickness in semicircle right of motion

   1.
      1.

   1.
      1.

DeltaZL = mean 900-600hPa thickness in semicircle left of motion

So, how can I figure out the "z" (altitude) for 900hPa and 600hPa for a
specific location, say lat =40, long = 60?
