zonal mpsi function

Dear NCL users

I am writing to enquire about the zonal mpsi function. I would like to
compute a regional streamfunction over a limited sector. Do you think it
is more appropriate to compute the streamfunction directly on global
fields and then extract my region of interest, or directly compute the
streamfunction on regional fields?
