Re: converting ascii text file to netcdf format

This question was previously answered. When you have a general
question about "how to read XXX data set", please try at least two
things first:

(1) Put the name of the data set into the NCL search box in the upper
right corner of most NCL web pages, and see if a good solution shows
up in the first few dozen hits. (Found PRISM.)

(2) Check for the data set under "Datasets" at the top of the the NCL
applications page (did not find PRISM this time):
http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/
