problem implementing ESMF regrid

Hi,

I got around my missing libgfortran.so.3 library by loading in the gcc library, which contained it. Now the ESMF calls appear to work normally.

I'm looking for some help with ESMF regridding between and observations on a rectilinear grid to a curvilinear model grid - the result looks kind of close but there appears to be some missing value mix up going on. I've attached the plot. In the script if the final plot commands are commented in/out - (i.e. plotting on obs. grid) it works fine.

I've put the following files in the incoming area:

esmf.ncl
tos_Omon_ACCESS1-0_historical_r1i1p1_1980-2005_DJF_LM.nc
tos_Omon_HadISST_1d_r1i1p1_1980-2005_DJF_LM.nc

I remapped the model data to have longitudes in the 0-360 range, this may not have been necessary.

uname -a
Linux dcc 2.6.18-308.8.2.el5 #1 SMP Tue Jun 12 09:58:12 EDT 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

ncl -V
6.1.0-beta

As always, thanks for any help,
Mark.
