Yeah, I had thought that could be the result. Thanks for trying it anyway.

I've looked through a few of my scripts for Polar Stereographic plots and
don't see anything special I'm turning on or off to avoid displaying those
boxes, but I'm also not paneling my figures. Do the boxes still appear if
you only plot one of the images (or somehow don't use the paneling
settings)? I have no good reason to think this would be the case, but it's
worth a shot.

Assuming that doesn't solve your issue, would you mind providing your
script either to the list or offline so we can take a closer look at any
extra resources you might be setting? Thanks,
