Visualize grid decomposition

Hi,

I want to visualize the grid decomposition/partition obtained using metis and space filling curves. Is it possible to do that in NCL? I can create a netcdf file with latitude, longitude and the partition number for each grid cell. Is it possible to plot this partition number and give it different colors using an NCL script?
