Hi Claudia,

I'm not sure this is the issue, but str_get_field() returns a string,
and you might need to coerce those data into floats; something like:

   jet_lon = stringtofloat( str_get_field(data,22,delim) )
   jet_lat = stringtofloat( str_get_field(data,23,delim) )
