Is there any North American continent shapefiles?

Hi,

I am looking for shapefiles that cover full North American continent.
Does anyone know where can I get it? I can download country wise
shapefiles from the following server http://www.gadm.org/country). Or
Is there any way to generate a one by using the USA Canada's
shapefiles? I look forward to hearing from you.
