symbol table problem

Hi,

I'm running OSX 10.6.8 and whenever I try to create a png file I get
this error:

    dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found:
    ___emutls_get_address
       Referenced from: /Users/whannah/NCL/bin/ncl
       Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib

    dyld: Symbol not found: ___emutls_get_address
       Referenced from: /Users/whannah/NCL/bin/ncl
       Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib

    Trace/BPT trap

This problem started after I installed VAPOR, but I'm not sure how its
connected or how to fix it. Any ideas?
