Calculate cdf and pdf with NCL

Dear ncl users,

does anyone know any script or routine in ncl or cdo in order to calculate
cumulative distribution frequency (CDF)?

I have got daily data of RCMs and I would like to calculate CDF and then PDF
(probability density function)..

Any idea would be appreciated
