Draw a curve

Dear sir/madam

I have a plot .pdf / .ps. i need to join some specific points with a dotted
or dashed lines by using mouse pointer (not by giving x-y points ). seeing
the plot and draw a particular curve on that plot. NCL has any options for
drawing like that? please give me a solution for that. please give me an
example if you know.
