xy plot

Dear all,

I am trying to creat a xy plot. My X axis, which is time, is a 1
dimensional variable,but mt Y axis has got a 2 dimensional variable ( the
dimensions are lat/lon). So how can I plot such a xy plot. I dont want to
omit one of two dimensions of Y axis. Please help me n this regard.
