xy plot axes through origin?

Hi

I have an xy-y plot, with positive and negative values on both the x and y axes. I would like my axes, and the accompanying tick marks and axis labels, to pass through the origin rather than set to the bottom and left of the plot.

Does anyone know of a relatively painless way of doing this, other than turning off all tick marks and annotating manually?
