where is wrf_cape_2d code?

(I know WRF questions usually go to WRF help, but I'm only looking to locate some code. and responses are quick on this list.)

I'm trying to find the code for the wrf_cape_2d function. I need to calculate CAPE from WRF, MERRA, and NARR, so I'd like to see what the WRF algorithm does since I the function so far is not working with MERRA data (capecalc3d: Outside of lookup table bounds. prs,thte= 925.000000000000 NaN).
