Simply use this resources
                        res@tmXBMode = "Explicit"
                        res@tmXBLabels = xlab_string
                        res@tmXBValues = xlab
where slab_string is a string array of longitudes, i.e "30E 40E 50E ….
while slab is the values where you what to put the strings i.e. 30 40 50 .. and so on
