Since you want to 'sort' the data

(1) you should click on 'Functions'

(2) click on 'Alphabetical'

(3) do a find on 'sort'

It will walk you through all the sort functios. See

It is a global variable named SAT(surface air temperature), where the time contains 30 years and the grids have a resolution of 94 latitudes x 192 longitudes. I want to sort the data in terms of time in an ascending order for each grid. Could you tell me how to do this?
